Holiday Open House

I just had an Open House for the new Holiday Catalog.  I was supposed to have 7-10 people to show up and only 2 arrived and hours apart.  It was a little disappointing to say the least.  I have done this many times yet it never is easy to try to jump start your business again.  Investing time and money is a big decision to take the risk and not have it pan out the way you had hoped.  It is especially hard to spend more money to make more money.  I am trying to expand more into the internet but it is a bit confusing for someone who never grew up on it.  I feel like I am being forced to make my business less personal.  With my business it is personal.  Setting up displays, creating new classes, design for individual parties and then face to face interaction with the party guests is how most of our parties go.  One on one instruction in classes is another way we connect with personal needs of a customer.  Computers seem to take that away such as clicking on a video to see how to make something or buying online without customer service.  It all seems so different to me.  I am trying though.  Thanks for stopping by and keep checking in.  I am still trying different image protection for my photographs. 

Half A Year Gone

Just when you think you are on top of your game- you blink and half the year is gone.  I am really stumped by alot of this website content and adsense.  I have to learn more and more to keep up with the technology of today.  So here I am again, restarting my business website and trying to understand the urls to insert and hmls and it ALL sounds Greek to me.

Not off to the good start

You know how when you start a new year that you SWEAR that you will never do the things you did last and etc.  This beginning of the year has been hard on me with health issues and my business and my bloggin has suffered.  First I would like to apologize for those that are trying to find my pictures and new information.  Please realize I am still learning all the ins and outs and as an "older" adult I feel overwhelmed.  Do you know how long it is since I have had to do Algebra?  You really do not want to know. 
Right now, we are getting ready for Graduation for June.  My husband is retiring from the military and two kids are in plays, AND ETC, ETC........I have a large amount of things to do and trying to volunteer as well.
We are preparing Valentine cards for an elderly rest home that the National Honor Society.  Even those that are in a rest home need love.  My daughter and I are making our cards at home since I have all the material.  The kids at school want to use doillies on the cards.  I am making some masculine cards for the gentlmen at the rest home as we know men are overly not found of a doily.
